Coffee starts the week under pressure from the exchange rate, but in Brazil heat generates concern
The week started with devaluation for the main contracts on the New York Stock Exchange (ICE Future). Monitoring the conditions of the coffee sector in Brazil and with pressure from the exchange rate, Arabica coffee fell 1.55% this Monday (25).
The market continues to monitor weather conditions in Brazil. The intense heat wave even raises concerns for next year's production. According to analysts interviewed by Notícias Agrícolas, although it is still too early to talk about the impacts on the 24th harvest, as flowering has already opened in some regions, the lack of rain could compromise production.
