EllerS Coffee attended Caminho da Safra 2026 Eisa, closely following the main discussions regarding the current Brazilian coffee crop and the outlook for the 2026/27 cycle.
Representing the company were Renata Eller, broker, and Julhyana Veloso from the commercial department, in a meeting marked by climate analyses, production expectations, and debates about the next movements in the coffee market.
Among the key points presented during the event was the projection of a Brazilian crop close to 76 million bags, with an expected surplus of approximately 8 million bags. Even so, specialists highlighted that this volume would still not be enough to fully recover the deficit accumulated after several consecutive years of tighter crops.
Despite the optimism regarding the productive potential of the current season, the overall market sentiment remains cautious. One of the most discussed topics throughout the event was the concern about screen sizes, which so far remain below the sector’s initial expectations. The expectation is for improvement throughout the harvest, but the market continues to closely monitor quality development and bean formation.
Another relevant factor discussed was the climate behavior. With temperatures currently around 2°C above those recorded last year, the risk of frost this winter appears to be reduced. On the other hand, there are concerns regarding the possible strengthening of El Niño from November onward, which could directly impact the development of the next crop.
According to EllerS Coffee’s assessment, the market should continue operating under a dynamic of pressure between buyers and exporters over the coming months. Although the arrival of a large crop may pressure prices in the short term, many exporters are expected to remain cautious until the flowering period, when there will be greater clarity regarding the potential of the next harvest.
Participation in events such as Caminho da Safra reinforces EllerS Coffee’s commitment to closely monitoring market movements, aiming to provide strategic analysis and updated information to its partners and clients.
