Brazilian businesspeople have been expanding networking and business with businesspeople and investors in the coffee sector in the Middle East, a region that imported 47% more of the country's coffees in 2023. The participation of a national delegation in the World of Coffee Dubai 2024 and the carrying out of a mission commercial activity could yield Brazil US$96.3 million in business.

According to the executive director of BSCA, Vinicius Estrela, countries in the Middle East have significantly increased their coffee consumption, which was diagnosed by the entity in 2020, when it participated in an event in Dubai for the first time. "Since then, we have expanded our work to promote our specialty coffees and have been able to meet growing local demand, where we have seen a multiplication of coffee shops and large investments made by companies and governments in the coffee scene", he comments.
In 2023, the Middle East increased imports of all types of coffee from Brazil by 47%, accounting for 6.8% of national shipments of the product. The volume purchased jumped from 1.821 million bags, in 2022, to the current 2.670 million bags, according to figures from the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Council (Cecafé).
