The Arabica coffee futures market ended the week with devaluation for the main contracts on the New York Stock Exchange (ICE Future US).

According to an analysis by the international website Barchart, arabica had a day of pressure after data from Honduras was published. The country exported 26% in February.

On the London Stock Exchange, however, the conilon type advanced this Friday (1). May/24 had an increase of US$ 48 per ton, worth US$ 3143, July/24 had an appreciation of US$ 31 per ton, quoted for US$ 3057, September/24 had an increase of US$ 16 per ton, quoted for US $2980 and November/24 had a drop of US$7 per ton, worth US$2897.

"Robusta coffee has had transitional support since Thursday, when Vietnam's General Bureau of Statistics reported that Vietnam's coffee exports in February fell -20% year-on-year to 160,000 tonnes," the international analysis adds.

According to analysts interviewed by Notícias Agrícolas, producers need to pay attention as prices could be pressured in the coming weeks as the Brazilian harvest approaches.

In Brazil, the physical market followed suit and ended with devaluation.
