Partnership Workshop Nespresso AAA and Expocacer promotes event on regenerative practices, inclusion and labor issues in coffee farming

The partnership between Nespresso and the Cerrado Coffee Growers Cooperative (Expocacer) gains new chapters in favor of regenerative coffee farming. This Tuesday, the 27th, the Nespresso AAA Workshop was held, with the aim of presenting the company's strategies that are linked to quality, sustainability and regenerative.

The event held by Nespresso, in collaboration with the Cerrado Coffee Growers Cooperative (Expocacer), took place at the São Paulo farm, owned by coffee growers and members Marcelo and Roger Montanari and brought together partners and members of the Nespresso Alto Paranaíba Clusters, as well as the technical sustainability manager from the cooperative, Farlla Gomes.

“Expocacer stands out for being avant-garde in many areas, especially sustainability. The topics covered during the Workshop complete the work we are developing with our members and partners, providing technical and managerial advice, providing current information on practices, techniques and legal issues that, in addition to being important, are also evaluated by the market”, he states. The agenda included institutional lectures and in-depth discussions on regenerative practices and labor issues, highlighting the importance of sustainability at all stages of coffee production. Participants had the opportunity to experience in practice the techniques covered during a visit to the farm, further enriching their learning.

The opening was carried out by the Executive President of Expocacer, Simão Pedro de Lima, and the Manager of the Nespresso Coffee Program in Brazil, Daniel Motyl. On the occasion, they reinforced their joint commitment to promoting sustainable practices in coffee farming.
