Team joins one of the industry’s leading events, focused on sustainability, traceability, logistics, and global economic outlooks
From July 2nd to 4th, EllerS Coffee took part in the 10th Coffee Dinner & Summit, hosted by Cecafé (Brazilian Coffee Exporters Council) in Campinas, Brazil. The commemorative edition brought together key figures in the Brazilian and international coffee industries, along with government representatives, cooperatives, industry professionals, logistics providers, and certification bodies to discuss the major challenges and opportunities in the global coffee market.
Represented by three team members, EllerS Coffee attended the event to strengthen its institutional presence, follow key industry trends, and deepen relationships with partners and strategic players in the supply chain. The three-day program offered a rich mix of technical lectures, global panels, coffee talks, and expert roundtables.
“It was my first time attending, and I was truly impressed by how well the technical content and networking spaces were integrated. We were free to move, learn, and connect throughout the day. It allowed us to absorb key insights while building valuable relationships,” said Julhyana Veloso, Head of Marketing and Commercial at EllerS Coffee.
Among the highlights, the team was particularly engaged by the technical session on EUDR & ICE Commodity Traceability Service, which presented key tools and strategies for adapting to the new European regulation, with a strong focus on supply chain transparency and the role of technology.
EllerS Coffee also followed the main plenary panels, including:
Global Coffee CEOs & Agribusiness Leadership Panel, featuring top executives from major trading and roasting companies;
Global Geopolitics Panel, discussing economic tensions and their impact on agricultural trade;
Brazilian Economy Panel: What to Expect from the Future?, led by economist Marcos Troyjo;
And the Future of Sustainable Coffee Production Panel, highlighting responsible growth and social inclusion in coffee farming.
Logistics, a core topic for the company’s operations, was also explored in depth during the Logistical Challenges in Coffee Supply panel, where speakers addressed Brazil’s infrastructure and efficiency in exports.
“We’re always looking for new opportunities, and the Summit gave us a chance to connect with a wide range of players — including newcomers to the market with promising business models,” said Mateus Ellers, from the commercial team.
Company CEO Renata Eller emphasized the institutional importance of participating in the event:
“Being at the Summit is not just about staying updated — it’s about actively engaging in the discussions shaping the future of our industry. We believe in the power of specialized intermediation, aligned with global standards and committed to the sustainable evolution of Brazilian coffee production.”
Key themes throughout the event included EUDR compliance, sustainability, logistics, consumption trends, ESG, public policies, and global geopolitics. The overall sentiment was that the market remains under price pressure, with growing demand for conilon (robusta) coffee and concerns around the sustainability of organic production. New consumer markets such as India and China also emerged as strategic opportunities for global growth.
EllerS Coffee returns from the event with valuable insights, new contacts, and a renewed commitment to connect high-quality Brazilian coffees with the international market through ethical practices, market intelligence, and commercial excellence.
